今日19歳11か月という最年少優勝タイ記録で全米女子オープン選手権を優勝した笹生選手ですが、10歳から海外での活躍をめざして英語のレッスンを３年間つづけたそうです。すばらしい優勝インタビューを文字起こししました。最近は日本の小さな殻をどんどん破ってくれる若い人たちがでてきて自分のモチベーションも上がります。

What do you say to all those people who got up early to watch?
笹生：
Um, first I'd like to thank my family.
I wouldn't be here without them and......
I'm sorry I'm not good at this.
